The Pinnacle Award is Daikin’s top sales performance award. It is awarded annually to a representative office in each division whose sales team demonstrates characteristics that Daikin wants to duplicate.
 
1.  A high level of sales performance that leads to market and customer share domination.
2.  Integrity and the integrated behavior with the core values we require.
3.  Tenacity in pursuing key Daikin McQuay projects and winning jobs.

Pinnacle Award winners were announced at the Daikin Group Sales Meeting at the JW Marriott Resort in San Antonio, TX on October 6-9, 2013. Daikin also gave a short presentation on the O’Connor Company headquarters and employees.
 
A Special Congratulations to Rick Clegg and the Rapid City office as they were recognized for 2nd place in overall market share for Division IV and Rick was recognized with the Bronze sales award for having the 3rd highest sales in Division IV! Again, congratulations to the entire O’Connor Company team! Your hard work and dedication are appreciated by all.

 Ryan-O-Daikin-Award.pngAnother Big Congratulations goes to Ryan O’Connor who was surprised at the Daikin Sales Meeting when he was honored by winning Sales Professional of the Year! This award is given to one person in each four US divisions and one international person. Ryan won for Division IV and was nominated by someone in Daikin Management. The award recipient not only needs to have good sales numbers, but show that they are an all around good partner for Daikin and the sales offices around them. They must demonstrate a good understanding of the products and the total sales process. Most, like Ryan, are able to coordinate the efforts of the whole team calling on owners, engineers and contractors to manage all aspects of a project. They are able to solve job related problems and listen to the needs of their customer. The sales professional does so much more than simply selling equipment.
